An Isle of Tranquility in the Galilee

Join a new, revolutionary Community Artist-in- Residence Program in the Galilee in Israel!
The Bat Shalom Guest House is an expansive contemporary artist villa nestled in the hills of the Galilee between the Sea of Galilee and Mount Tavor. Inspired by the land absorbed with the sources of the Bible, Druze villages, Christians, Muslims, and Jews, we invite artists of all walks of life to join us for a one-month Art Laboratory December 18, 2011-January 18, 2012.

12 selected international artists will research and explore the connection between art and peace work with the world-renown multi-media artist and peace activist, Dorit Bat-Shalom. She will lead this group on a journey through the ancient cultures and spiritual paths that live in the land of Israel while connecting them with acclaimed Israeli artists. The Guest House will provide a sanctuary where from every window and balcony the beautiful view of the ancient Lower Galilee will enrapture you. With an atmosphere of inspiration, creativity, and tranquility, this unique location deeply serves each artist.
